Prices

All prices are quoted in South African Rand and are valid till 31 August 2003. Please refer to the currency converter indicated on the left side main menu to access and carry out conversions. With respect to Namibia tours, please note that the Namibian Dollar and South African Rand are currently on par, ie 1 : 1.
We reserve the right to change prices should Government taxes and levies be increased. In the case of fully paid-up tours, prices will not be increased.

Payment

Method. Electronic transfers or cash.

Deposit.

A deposit of 30% secures a tour booking. The balance is payable at least 45 days before the tour commences. For tours commencing in less than 45 days at time of booking, full payment is required.

Cancelation policy

The following cancellation fees are applicable on cancellation of tours and safaris, for whatever reason.
Period before the tour starts Fee as percentage of tour price

Up to 45 days = 30%

44 to 21 days = 50%

20 days or less = 100%

Non-arrival at the start of the tour will be deemed to be a cancellation, unless the company has been timeously informed of probable late arrival of guests.

Insurance

Visitors are strongly urged to make adequate provision for medical and travel insurance timeously, including cover for luggage or other personal belongings. Furthermore to include insurance to recover tour costs, if obliged to cancel or curtail tours or safaris due to unforeseen personal or other circumstances.

Route and accommodation changes to tours

Antares Tours and Safaris reserves the right to change the accommodation, route, or anything else on any of the tours without prior notice to cater for adverse weather and road conditions, accommodation availability, or any other factor, which in the opinion of the company, might adversely affect the safety or well-being of their guests.

Disclaimer/Indemnity

Antares Tours and Safaris reserves the right to accept or refuse any person as a member of a tour or safari at any time, without giving reasons thereto. Antares Tours and Safaris as well as their servants or agents shall not be responsible for, and shall be exempt from all liability in respect of any loss, damage, injury, accident, delay or inconvenience to any person, or his or her luggage or other personal property, wherever the same shall arise from, or be occasioned by the negligence of Antares Tours and Safaris, their servants or agents or other persons directly or indirectly in the employ of the company, or otherwise under any circumstances whatsoever.
